the face is more like
my kitchen guest's pretty face)

I had a different message here, but I read it and thought,
"who do you think you are?" So I took it off. The
important message to all my artist friends is have
a very Happy Mother's Day. To all the mothers and
all the children of mothers I hope you have a lovely
day.

Let's let love be the order of the day, and be
happy about all the people we love, and who
love us. Flowers, chocolates, meals with
friends and family -- it's all good.

Have a love-rules-the-world day.

Much Love,

Barbara

  1. Hi Barbara! Just as you were leaving your sweet comment, I was naming you one of my Art Mothers. I hope you'll come back and read my edited post. I love you for your fierce, positive support and encouragement, as well as for the art you make for all of us, as well as for yourself.

  2. Hi Susan,

You are one of my Art Mothers too -- or maybe an art sister. My own sister is super kind and supportive of my art. She actually buys my paintings, so I have no bad feelings about being your art sister. I love the network of artists -- women and men -- and in many ways it does feel like the best sort of family.

    Have a super, super day.

  6. Hi Liz,

Thanks so much. It was a super day.

My children were incredibly generous and sweet. It couldn't have been better, or more fun. Just the best.

    Thanks for your kind message.

    Take care,

    Barbara
