( Steven is wearing the glow in the dark necklaces
we gave out to our guests on his head like
a halo!)
cat Timbah after our New Year's Eve party was
over tonight (well actually this morning).
Friends dropped over and we shared wine,
food, delicious deserts and champagne at
midnight. We had so much fun with everyone.
It was a lovely evening. Happy New Year
one and all. It's time for bed.
Have an enjoying-the-promise-of-a-new-year day!
Sounds like a fun way to usher in the new year! I wish you all the best in 2010 and look forward to your daily posts!!!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Laurel. Yes we had fun, and here's to a super new year.

Dear Barbara!
ReplyDeleteThe drive home was easy, not slippery at all. But thanks for the invitation to stay over. It was divine to spend the evening with you and Steven, your lovely friends and neighbors and Timbah and Fiona. And to be surrounded with your beautiful paintings. And flowers everywhere. I’m sure I counted no less than six fabulous bouquets! Here’s to a splendid 2010! mmmmm champagne

Happy New Year to you, too, Barbara! It's always a joyful visit here on Barbara Muir Paints - thank-you!
ReplyDeleteHi Marcia,
ReplyDeleteGood news! I tossed and turned all night and morning worrying. Not so much as a phone call you cyber girl. I'm grateful for that because I was sleeping (almost).
What was it about our breakfast that didn't sound appealing? Cake? Champagne?
