Before you watch my tiny video excuse, please
understand that I started my day at 5:30 and
that is almost 20 hours ago. What a packed day!
I taught very early, and was impressed with my students.
Then whipped home to clean before my client arrived.
I made some changes to a portrait commission,
while my client drank her tea and talked to me about
Italy (swoon -- I'm still hopelessly in love with
Italy), then after she left I worked on chucking out
more of our excess stuff to start the new year, (already
almost 1/12 gone) on a cleaner note. After that I ran out to buy
dinner, (I wish I could say I literally ran, I actually
drove with my dear Steven.) Then whew, I made dinner
ate it with my sweetie by candlelight, and wowser.
Now it is late my friend.
This is honey bunch's first little video on her blog and
it's an excuse. This is my 722nd blog in a row, and I feel
pretty happy about that, and I'm incredibly happy
that I figured out how to upload a video
(one of my 2009 goals!) Ya Momma! We are rocking.
Have an enjoying-new-technology day.

You're cute.

So, cute.
Cheers
Zina
you never need to apologize-you're awesome.
Hi Claudia,
You are a sweetie. I actually feel quite foolish about it now, but what the heck!
Love Barbara
Hi Zina,
Thank you. You are very kind to say so.
Cheers,
Barbara
Hi Chris,
Oh I think I do need to apologize.
Thanks for your kind thoughts.
Take care,
Barbara
It's okay to be proud of uploading a video! It's not easy stuff.
Hope you'll do more. Did you know that Dorothy Arzner, an early filmaker, directed Clara Bow's first talkie and invented the boom mike. How about that?!
No. No new computer yet. Must make paintings. Must sell paintings...
Stay warm!!
Hi Melinda,
It turns out it isn't very hard to upload a video anymore because blogger has some new thing that makes it almost as easy as uploading a photo. Now I just need to get something interesting on there. Not my silly sleepy self making excuses.
Ah well.
You are sweet. It has been a bit warmer, and so warm today I could go out to the car to retrieve boxes for throwing out stuff without a jacket, and not get pneumonia. Wow. Of course the temperature plunged back down tonight but it was a delight.

Barbara, this little video of you is charming! You are charming!
But I agree with Chris - no need to apologize as far as I'm concerned. After all, life is NOT just about painting, especially for someone like you with a second job! But as your bad conscience resultet in making and posting this video, it was a good thing afterall. Don't feel silly about it - you made several people smile!
Hi Liza,
I'm sure I made people smile, and probably laugh, but you convinced me to leave this here. Silly I know.
I hope I learn to podcast this year,
then occasionally I will just talk instead of blogging.
That would be good.
You are incredibly sweet to support me in this.
