Quick -- Draw!

So much fun talking

Hi everyone,

I had a great afternoon at school today, but
I am super zonked tonight. So... I am trying
to take my own advice and get to bed on time
to get up for my very early class. In honour of
that idea I did this little drawing for you of
a friend talking to me on Skype. I must
admit that's a cool medium. What you see
is what I could see on my screen.

Have a very Happy Thursday.

  2. Now how on Earth do you manage to portray the reflection of the monitor in pencil? It's hard enough when there is color to work with. Very nice! I can feel the joyful exchange you two were having.

  3. Nice job, Barbara! You've really captured the expression of someone "skyping" with you and it's a lovely drawing of a beautiful artist.

  4. Hi LeSan,

I hope you noticed my restrained use of colour in this one. That was for you.

    Take care,

  5. Hi Gwen,

I'm glad you like it. Which one are you in Carol Marine's class photos? I was trying to find you. I'm glad you get a happy feeling from this.

  6. Hi Melinda,

Of course I want to do a whole bunch more of this. I'm having dreams and letting them sift through my consciousness. So? New computer any time soon?

You are too wonderful. Love the canyon.

  8. Hi Marcia,

You are too too kind. Thank you. It wasn't all that quick. Glad it sparkles. I've decided that drawing is completely unfathomable. I am not even remotely sure how it works. But
you do it beautifully young woman.

    XOBarbara
