Semester's end

It's almost the end of the winter semester, and both
students and teachers are preparing for exams, and
getting ready to say goodbye for the summer. I will
miss my students, but not my early morning classes.
As for the teachers, and the staff -- it's hard to imagine
life without the humour and kindness that keep us all
going.

Tonight I got home late after a very long day of
interviews. I am not used to sitting all day, and I
forgot to take a break for lunch. It feels great to
spend some time one-on-one with as many students
as possible, and help them link to jobs, or the right
person to tell them about courses, and to talk about
how to prepare for exams.

Tonight I spent a little time working on my Water
Image 3, and I'll show you the results. The changes
aren't dramatic, because I really need to go slowly
when I'm tired, but I still like how she looks and
where it's going. I'm at the point when a lot of
decisions come into play. So I need to take a breath,
have a decent sleep, and then continue tomorrow.

Thanks for your kind encouragement. It helps a lot
when I'm on a major push, like I am now with this
series.

Have a getting-what-needs-to-be-done-done day.

Hi Barbara
I think this is coming along beautifully, too!! What’s happening with the color is wonderful. I think you’re wise not to rush it especially at the end of the day when you’re tired. But this series is great!
In anticipation of summer - it makes me want to jump right in and go swimming. And the model looks so friendly and joyous – she’s beautiful as are all the models in this series.

Hi Marcia,

You know I love everything that you do. Thanks so much. I needed more reference and got it today, so she will become even more beautiful.

This series is about swimming in part. Can we swim anymore? What are we doing to our oceans, our beautiful oceans? But the message is subtle.
