Self portrait Sunday
iPad drawing
8 x 10 inches

It's the end of a great weekend -- beautiful weather, ifincredibly cold, and great fun. Last night Sam, my
youngest was home from university briefly, and
today we went down to the hotel where his class was
staying to say good-bye. He had just performed
two monologues for an audience, which might include
agents, and he was so excited. He knew he'd been
good. We hugged, and then let him go -- me a bit
teary as I always am on good-byes even though we'll
see one another soon.
Here's a little self-portrait on the iPad, done at
home. Got to go. It is going to be another gorgeous,
sunny winter day tomorrow.
Have a loving-the-winter-sun day.

boy you are getting good at this-great portrait
Yeh, this is really nice Barbara. Strong, abstract, confident colours and a total harmony throughout. Love the Chelsea house in snow too!
Barbara, you're like a kid in a candy store! What a joy to see you explore - love the new 'brushes'.
: )
Wow, I love these drawings you're doing with the i-pad! This self portrait is really good - so loose and right on!
Hi Astra,
Thanks a lot. Funny, but fun.

Hi Sheila,
Thanks very much. I'm glad you like these two. I was happy with them too. Amused and happy.

(Always inspired by you).
Hi Marilyn,
I'm delighted that I can provide something in colour while my studio is still filled with Christmas tree.
Glad you like them.

(Love your work.)
Hi Liza,
Yes in fact there's no way to do exactly this except to be severely limited by the one finger drawing technique -- aided by great technology. So when I go back to the other type of drawing please forgive the less loose variation.
