Flirting with spring
iPad drawing

Here's a little plein air under glass that I didon my iPad today. I was inside, and was so taken
with the view that I had to go for it. Bright light,
golden and orange, and deep blue shadows lured
me into the landscape and into my imagination
beyond the pathway.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll have time to get back to
painting. I am thinking about many ideas, but
need a little time to let them gel. After our five
hour trip to Windsor Saturday, and our even
longer return trip yesterday -- plus a full day
of teaching, I am giving myself the rest of the
night off. We had just a super fantastic time
with our little family this weekend, and now
it's time to retrench, rest and read.
Have a taking-some-time-to-read day.

Yes! It just sings!!!! This is glorious.
Another beauty! You seem to do these so effortlessly. You've succeeded in conveying the gorgeous landscape in this. Really nice! Is this a bit like those old etch a sketch machines? Oops. I've dated myself now. It's so great that you have such a monumentally more sophisticated 'sketcher.'
I'm hoping you'll get all the rest you want and will be back at your easel soon.
GORGEOUS!!!!!
Thank you Kim,
I'm so happy that you like it.
Love your work,
Barbara
Hi Melinda,
I never played with those machines, but you don't date yourself because my kids had them. No. It isn't like an etch a sketch because the line goes where your finger goes, and you decide the colour (infinite) and type of line. Everyone is telling me about better systems, but I know you know I need to go back to the age old (new product) medium of paint and canvas.
Love your work so much.
Thanks for the wishes for rest. New commissions coming in. The easel demands some work. Yahoo.
