The Lost Hour and the feeling of spring

People (my family) do not react well to time changes -- jumping forward
or backwards through the time loop.  That's why we moved
our clocks ahead last night --a whole day ahead.  On Monday
morning we will not be zombies, we'll be old hands at the
new time -- and the lost hour.

I can never understand how the animals switch to the new
time with no warning, and were ready for supper
tonight one hour early.  Well if Zoey, Timbah and Fiona
can switch so easily, what is our excuse?

I started a little painting on a birch panel of some lovely
tulips in a pot I bought today.  They are easily one of the
cheeriest flowers going.  Here are a couple of the stages.

Have a being-a-joyous-time-traveller day.

Love your WIP! So helpful, and fun to see the journey to final painting! Thank you for sharing!

Such a bright and uplifting picture. Reminds me of the spring that is to come, and soft warm rains and flowers.
I hate the time change, but our dog Bailey makes the transition easily. Of course, he is always ready for dinner!

Hi Nancy,

Thank you. It's almost done. It is fun. I may lose some of the dark lines, all up in the air now. Love your work. Don't know if you're working in oil or acrylic. It's super.

XO Barbara

Hi Catherine,

I think the spring is going to be upon us before we're ready. Do I plant seeds inside now? So many questions, and I remember it happens way before I'm ready.

XO Barbara (Love your work. Just awesome!)
