This will be a short one. I had a terrific day in class tonight.
My students are smart, on the ball and enjoying themselves.
I bought groceries on my way home, and was making my
dinner, when I tripped over my cat and fell full force on my
forearm, wrist and left hand.  My family rallied on the phone
advising pain killers, rest and ice and I made a rudimentary
sling out of an old pink scarf of my mother's.

If the swelling doesn't go down by the morning my son will
take me to the emergency ward.  I was too tired tonight for the
standard 5  hour wait.

This is a photo of an iPad drawing because my iPad won't let
me export it.  I drew it at the start of the month, and it was supposed
to be about young love.  It feels especially poignant with what's
taken place in Florida.  Power to the students!
