I'm proud of all the people who took the day off. Not
so here at this house. Two tired workers ploddingaway at -- wish we could be doing anything else. Maybe
it's my artist's nature, but getting organized is one of
the most annoying, tedious, and time consuming jobs.
Especially when it involves paperwork. Or computer paperwork.
Enough complaining. It's all about getting my act together
as I said in the first blog of this month. I worked on this
painting of pansies to give myself a lift. Yes! And it did.
The paper is Multi media, and acrylic ink works
differently on this stuff. I needed to use more ink for
a similar result. Good to know.
I hope you had a good Friday. If you're religious,
I hope your observations are happy.
Have a getting it all together day!
These should really go on your new website, along with your ink drawings
ReplyDeleteThis exuberant painting definitely does not look like the work of someone who has any complaints--so vivacious!
ReplyDeleteThank you Daniel. I want to decide what goes on it. Happy Easter. I'm glad you like this.

Thank you Laura,
ReplyDeleteThat means a lot to me. I began it before the tedium, and returned to it for a break. So you
are right, while I was painting I was happy. The pansies have taken a rough hit from the cold
weather, but each one that makes it into my house, and onto the page makes me so happy.
Love your work!
XOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara
