Tonight I am thinking about my son Christopher and

his wife, who have been together since high school, and
are celebrating tonight.  I painted this portrait when
Christopher was a teenager.  He was already in love
with the girl, who became his wonderful wife.

But I don't think that they were going out when I
placed the mystery figure behind our back door in
the painting. So -- I'm so delighted that they fell in love.
They are a sweet couple, and both of them make the
world a better place.
