A Happy Story

First sighting -- coming home

So much of the news is hard to take.  And I've had some kind
of bug, so here's a happy story.  This painting, painted from
memory of one of my favourite places in the world in Nova
Scotia, went home the other day to a very special collector.

For an artist, knowing your work is with people who love it
is a big deal. Sometimes it all comes together perfectly
through circumstances and connections.  I love that.

Have a loving what you do day.

So nice it went home! I hope you are feeling better, no bugs needed. Only ones that create happiness and good health are allowed!!

You are so right Barbara. When someone purchases a work it gives me a sense of connection with that person. You both understand something about the work even if it's different from yours.
Sold a bronze high relief a few weeks ago and she was thrilled to be taking home something she has been admiring for a long time. I was amazed, grateful and inspired to create more.
Love your blogs B.
