very happy with both our dinner and our gifts. It was good that his birthday

Tonight I’m showing some pictures from 10 years ago when we visited Sam at
the University of Windsor, where he was studying acting. I love the photo of me
hugging Sam because that was the one thing missing in our birthday celebration
tonight. We could not hug Sam because he works in a place with a lot of people.

It was so nice to see Sam and Emily and to share some time together on the back
porch in weather that was surprisingly warm for November. The other photo is of
Sam and me doing funny walks, something he was practising for a play he was in
at the time.

I'm very glad you are able to see family, and that the weather is mild enough to visit outdoors. The photos are beautiful. That you didn't take any this year is OK, because you were focussed on more important things like loving your family in the moment. I find when I am really in a moment, I forget to take photos too.

You did wish Sam Happy Birthday before, because I wrote about his birthday twice.
It was a miracle that it was warm enough to visit outdoors. I don't know how
we'll do Christmas, but today was great. It was my husband's birthday today. And I took a few pictures, but they're not very good, for exactly the reasons you say. We see other people for any type of celebration, or at all, so rarely now, that that is what I was concentrating on.
