Today is a deliciously rainy day. (Light rain watering our new outdoor plants.)
I did take a walk today, and also picked some of our own tulips, which are big, healthy
and beautiful -- nothing like flower store tulips, which I also love.
It's been a busy Monday. I feel like every Monday is busy, because even if you don't
have a specific job to do, you wake up on the first day of the week powered to get something done. So if you're not working, you probably drive everyone you live
with crazy just by doing small tasks.
What did you do today? Did it make a difference in your world? I teach tonight,
and I hope that what I teach helps my students. As for my art -- one day the pretty
painting I'm working on may remind some future collector of the beauty of spring
-- maybe even in the depths of winter.

The power of the imagination intrigues me so much now during COVID-19 -- in
this long Lockdown. How lucky we are as artists to have that power.

What a wonderful view over those rooftops. It must have been an amazing experience to be there and in the biennale! I would love to visit Florence one day.
