Thinking today about a friend who just lost her mother.
It is a powerful loss, and the details of those last moments
stay etched in your heart and brain forever. 

Nothing can replace the person you love.  But the love
continues. And that is heartening.

The flowers today are to honour all of the mothers here
and gone, and to send love to everyone missing a parent.
We love you, I love you Mommy. We think about you,
talk about you and miss you every day.
