A delightful day

It’s Saturday night and if I had the time I would write up an excellent
 art show that I saw today. But in a few moments it’s time to eat dinner,
 and then watch a movie with my darling Steven.

This has been a crazily busy day. We went to the market this morning and got
delicious food, and beautiful garden flowers from our favourite farmer.
Then after lunch we headed out to an art show called Encounter '22
at the Heliconian Club.

Downtown Toronto was so busy today that it took us an hour and a half, instead
of 20 minutes to get through the traffic, and out to the park we love on the
west end to feed the ducks and the seagulls. We usually love to feed the swans.
But we ran out of bread before we reached this one. And when we saw her the
sun was setting, and she had no interest in eating at all. That was lucky because we had
nothing left.

So tonight I am showing you a picture of the one swan we saw just before we left the
park. She is so beautiful.  It was a happy end to a busy, and fulfilling day.
