An excellent day for art

It was a beautiful day here, and I felt "on" creatively -- ready to 
paint, and happy to be painting.  I worked all day on two landscape
paintings, and made plans for other projects.

Plus I sent a photo to my printer Chris, for reference, and I suddenly
knew I wanted to paint a scene from last week in the park we love,
as my next adventure. Chris and I had a happy debate looking at
the reference over how I should proceed.

The paint I'm showing you is loosely based on a scene from the ocean near
Pugwash, Nova Scotia. I love how the acrylic ink allows me to make
clouds on watercolour paper.  So fun.
