My husband Steven has already canned some peaches that we
can eat in the coming winter. In February the taste of this
delicious fruit gives us hope that spring will come.
This weekend it looks like he'll be filling more pretty glass
bottles with the season's beauties. It has been a long and tiring week.
I think this painting captures the delight in seeing peaches at
their best. Yes that's two stories about fruit in a row. Well
it's that time of year. Enjoy.
Have a loving your life day.
I so look forward to summer peaches, blueberries, corn and tomatoes. Never feel I get my fill. I've made blueberry jam, but next: canning peaches!
ReplyDeleteYour painting is luscious!
Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteI just ate a peach a few minutes ago, and it's one of the best tastes ever.
Yum blueberry jam. Luckily Steven is the peach canning person, because it's quite the process. And he doesn't use sugar, so they taste fresh!

Love peaches and love your painting!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Steven!
Thank you so much Candy. I love your work, and your blog.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and your husband.

ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer Rose,
ReplyDeleteMaybe I just blew the photo up too much. No they weren't fuzzy.
They were perfect. Like your art.
