It was a gloriously foggy, misty, and mysterious full day today.
Hard to believe the contrast between yesterday's brilliant blue and
the glowing yellow leaves on the trees. 

Today is the 10th birthday by our calculations of our dog Sally.
Wow that time has gone by so fast. Even with the 2 1/2 years that we’ve
been living a completely different life because of Covid. So here’s this
beautiful dog making our lives happy, and she has for all of the time we’ve
shared with her. She is beloved.  Our two Siamese cats love her, and so do we.

One of her skills is singing, barking, Happy Birthday, which she does with
great vigour if you even say and don't sing the words. So tonight when we
were singing to her, of course you know that she was singing too, and didn't
want to stop. Treats? -- some of the left over delicious salmon from our dinner
 -- and not one, but two cookies.
