One of the paintings I'm so happy I created in 2022 is a portrait
of the wonderful portrait artist, Michael Gibson. Michael's
drawings are beyond spectacular, and I wanted to honour him
with a portrait.
I began by drawing in charcoal, but if that once was, it no longer
is my medium. I love painting. So I used a photo capture from a
video of Michael talking, with his permission, and that was a
challenge.
I was over the moon happy when Michael said he liked it.
