Okay.  Yes it is January and it was a grey day.  Yes, but such a 
lovely day.  We bought flowers at our favourite flower store,
and they treated us to a special made by their mother Chinese
New Year treat. Delicious. So sweet.

Then we went to our favourite little take out place and got
wraps for lunch, drove out to the lake in the setting no sun,
visited Kartik at the Rabba out there. And in the almost
total dark fed the geese and ducks on the beach. They were
hungry! 

We took a walk along the path in the cold and in the distance on
the lake saw the swans sleeping (in the water -- brave).  Their
shapes in the dark made me think of art ideas, how they are
far away, beautiful and sleeping, and soon they will wake 
up and take shape.  Happy thought, happy day.
