I've been preparing work for the Woman show at The Heliconian in Toronto
-- opening on March 4. The deadline for submission was this Wednesday.
One of the paintings I was working on wasn't complete, and an organizer
helped me by suggesting I put in work that I haven't shown there before.
I picked two paintings from the Times Tables series I painted 10 years ago,
updated this year, and another painting from 2017, all updated. The painting
I'm showing you is from the Times Tables series, and isn't in the show, because
the family bought the painting. However, guess what? Alyson Stanfield republished
a blog I did just after I created the paintings, in January 2014, on February 7, 2023.
So these paintings are back in action in the blog world. I'll tell you more
about the Heliconian Woman exhibition opening this week, and here's
the link to Alyson's blog, and to my piece on her blog.
