Happy St. Patrick's Day

As I sit here wearing a dollar store St. Patrick's day necklace, I am
thinking about all of the fun dinners we've had with our family
celebrating St. Patrick's Day.  We're not Irish, but as with every other
possibility for celebration we have supplies for celebrating this 
festivity.

Here's what I said in a former blog, and it sums it up:

"No I am not Irish, but way back some of my ancestors
fled France for Ireland, and then Ireland for Canada.
So in fact I'm more French than Irish.

One year when my children were small we -- a very
celebratory family -- bought them green toys and hula
hoops, and green candy and had green ginger ale, and
green champagne for the adults, and a tradition was
born.

So Happy St. Patrick's Day.  My family is not entirely
certain when we'll celebrate, but we will have a bit of
a green fest and that seems right with spring coming on
soon we hope."
