Yesterday was my dear friend Flora Doehler's birthday.

Happy Belated Birthday Flora. We love and miss you.
"Flora is such a wonderful artist. We love her art so much
that when we go to Nova Scotia, we take a four hour drive to
make sure we drop in on Flora and Larry Knox, her husband in Bear

Flora gets flowers like no one else, and her paintings have the
same effect as flowers -- they take your breath away with
their beauty. I always feel happy looking at her work.

Well thank you very much dear Barbara. Let me say that your and Steven’s summer visit is ALWAYS such a highlight for us, if never long enough. I love talking art with you and hearing about your wild and wonderful life showing your gorgeous paintings in three of my fave capitols…Toronto, Paris and New York.
