Peonies on the kitchen table

I think I may have the nicest neighbours in the world.  I'm 
not saying that to brag, but to thank them for the incredible
bounty of their kindness.  Two neighbours have given me so
many peonies that my kitchen table is covered with the
beauties.

And talking to another neighbour, he apologized because
his peonies are not producing blooms anymore.  OMG.
How sweet.  Peonies are one of my favourite flowers.
If you know me, you know I love flowers altogether.
So this is such a delightful sight.
