Yesterday I drew this portrait as I listened to an excellent podcast on Alyson Stanfield's podcast site. There are 180 podcasts on her site, and they are all wonderful for artists like me. I enjoyed the experience of trying to capture the woman's elegant look while I listened.
Meanwhile yes I am painting, and planning new work. Lots is going on.

I do find that when I'm painting I need music. And I also really like to see the speaker. But I'm happy to know that
I can draw and learn. Or walk and learn. I had podcasts on when I took a long walk recently. I can't stand earbuds,
so I had them playing softly over my phone, which was in my pocket. Occasionally someone noticed, but rarely.
