It was a particularly grey day today. I was grateful to be working on this cheerful
painting. Still a work in progress, but almost there. It reminds me of the force of
spring— how one minute you’re walking through snow, and the next flowers are
taking over every possible space.

I was grateful for our neighbour Bob’s tree out my window today -- still hanging in
with its golden leaves. It’s almost alone now. Many trees are barren.

This painting will be for sale at the Off The Wall show.  Come to the opening at the
Heliconian Cub 35 Hazelton Ave. Admission is free So mark down November 30 on
your calendar between two and five – it’s going to be a party.
