Today was Boxing Day in Toronto. We went for a long, delightful walk. What with a
bad cold, then a couple of openings, then a commission, then Christmas, I felt like
I hadn't been for a walk for a month. It was a beautiful, snowy day, and the park
was filled with people tobogganing, sliding, and people watching laughing their
heads off at jokes about crashing on your snowboard. The Torontonians there

were thrilled about the snow. Last year we hardly had any.
Nature seemed beyond beautiful, and we were so happy. We drove to our favourite
grocery store to pick up some essentials -- and wham -- it was closed. Everything was
closed. So we went home and watched a very funny TV show.
