Paintings that make me happy

It’s a bit brave to call yourself an artist, and to share your work
with the world. It’s a wonderful life, and an odd life because you pull
ideas out of your head, get models to cooperate with you when it’s a
portrait, and then paint. That it ever works and makes me feel proud is
a miracle, -- usually the result a lot of help with ideas, with producing
reference photos, suggestions for shows, so many things.

It’s Saturday night, which is movie night for me, and my sweetheart
Steven, so I thought I’d start to share some of the paintings that I did
in 2024 that make me happy.

My model for this painting, India, is an absolutely wonderful young
woman, and an excellent artist herself.  So I’ll be grateful forever for
her contribution to this work, and to her mother who took endless
reference photos for me..

Now it’s movie night -- happy end of 2024.

Have a loving your life day!
