What does that mean -- work in progress? You could actually call all art
works in progress.  I am so grateful for the work of Mitchell Johnson
who posts videos of himself going up to one of his paintings hanging
in a show -- sometimes framed -- and just starts painting on it.

He's opened up a world of possibilities to me -- to revise what no longer
works for me.  But in this case the work in progress just means that it
is almost finished, but not quite.  I've been having a lot of fun painting
this -- a painting of a nearby beautiful park.
